Dallas took down the Redskins to end the early season success in 1982. The Cowboys rolled out to a 17-0 lead, but Washington battled back to 17-10 in front of a deafening home crowd. The Skins looked to be ready to force a punt from deep in Dallas territory, but Danny White faked the punt and ran for a first down, taking the momentum out of the comeback.
