1983 Week 7 | Washington Redskins 47 : Green Bay Packers 48

In the second Monday Night game for the Redskins in 1983, both defenses apparently took the night off. There were five lead changes and over 1,000 yards of offense between the two teams. The Skins were able to move the ball crisply, but their secondary was picked apart by Packers QB Lynn Dickey. Riggins was injured and missed much of the game, preventing the Redskins from controlling the ball for long drives as they were accustomed to doing.

The Packers took the final lead with less than a minute remaining, but the Skins were actually able to drive inside the Green Bay 25 to set up what should have been a game-winning field goal. Unfortunately, Moseley missed the kick and Washington dropped their second game of 1983 by one point.
