1984 Week 10 | Washington Redskins 27 : Atlanta Falcons 14
The Falcons, another team that had been an easy mark the previous year, played the Skins close. Washington led 14-7 at halftime, but Atlanta drove back to tie in their first drive of the third quarter. A fumble on the next Atlanta drive gave the Skins an opportunity to pull away, and they took advantage. Riggins scored following the turnover, and Theismann added a TD pass in the fourth quarter to open a more comfortable lead.
