1984 Week 11 | Washington Redskins 28 : Detroit Lions 14

The Redskins overcame a special team onslaught by the Lions to win their second straight. Riggins had to sit out the game with a back injury, but backup Otis Wonsley responded and scored three TDs. The Lions managed to block three Redskins punts, giving them a number of possessions deep in Washington territory, but they could not get on the scoreboard until late in the third quarter, when the Skins had already opened up a 28 point lead. The fourth quarter was scoreless.
