Coming in at 7-5, the Redskins knew they had to build a new winning streak if they were going to ensure another playoff berth. They got off to a good start against Buffalo, blowing the game open early. Washington built a 24-7 lead in the second quarter behind a Riggins run and TD receptions by both Monk and Brown. The Bills scored first in the third quarter to make it slightly interesting at 27-14, but followed that up by throwing an INT for a TD, ending any chances of getting back in the game. A fourth quarter TD padded the already impressive score for the Skins.
