The Redskins dropped a second road game to a division opponent, ending the momentum that had been building during their winning streak. The Giants overwhelmed the Redskins early, led by two Joe Morris TDs and led 23-6 at halftime. Morris added another score in the third quarter, and Washington's lone second half TD did little to make the score respectable.
