1985 Week 13 | Washington Redskins 8 : San Francisco 49ers 35

Schroeder's bubble was burst by a San Francisco team firing on all cylinders, costing the Redskins another desparately needed NFC win. The 49ers opened the scoring with a kickoff return for a TD, and added a fumble return in the second quarter to pull out to a 21-8 lead. Washington's defense was awarded a saftey as Montana was flagged for grounding in the end zone, adding two points to two Moseley FGs for all of the Skins' points.

San Francisco added TDs in the third and fourth quarters to make their lead too much for Washington.
