1985 Week 5 | Washington Redskins 27 : St. Louis Cardinals 10
The Redskins got back to winning on Monday night against a Cardinals team that had given them fits the previous season. Showing few ill-effects from their pounding at the hands of the Bears, Washington opened up a 17-3 halftime lead and was able to cruise to comfortable victory. Theismann accounted for all of the Redskins' points, passing to Clark and Didier for scores and running one in himself.
