Washington's early roll came to an end at the hands of the division rival Cowboys. The Redskins offense had its worst performance of the season, and another missed extra point by Mark Moseley marked the end of his Redskins career.
Dallas pulled to a 16-0 halftime lead, scoring a TD in the first quarter and methodically kicking three FGs in the second. The Redskins drove to a TD to open the third quarter, but Moseley's miss sapped any chance of building momentum. Dallas scored two TDs in the fourth to make the score even more humiliating.
