1987 Week 13 | Washington Redskins 24 : Dallas Cowboys 20

The Redskins completed another sweep of a division rival with this win over Dallas.

Washington opened a 17-3 halftime lead, capped by another long TD pass from Schroeder to Clark. The lead widened to 24-3 early in the third quarter after a drive ended with a Rogers TD run.

But Dallas was not ready to roll over, and they scored 17 straight points to narrow the lead to an uncomfortable 24-20. Dallas would threaten again in the fourth quarter, but they gave the ball up on downs deep in Washington territory to preserve the victory.
