The Redskins returned to the win column playing on the road against the Cowboys.

The teams played to a 7-7 tie in the first quarter, with Rypien throwing another TD pass. Three Dallas turnovers in the second quarter led to Washington TDs, and the score mushroomed to 28-10 at halftime. Both teams added TDs in the fourth to close the game at 35-17.
