1989 Week 13 | Washington Redskins 29 : Phoenix Cardinals 10

Washington posted its first back to back wins since early in the season and convincingly handled the Cardinals.

The Redskins pulled to a 10-0 lead behind a Byner TD run. Phoenix responded with two drives of their own and tied the score before halftime.

Washington again played a dominant second half, though, with the defense contributing as much as the offense this time. A long interception return and a safety helped add points after a Riggs TD run.
