Washington finally got in the win column, playing their third straight game against a division foe.
The Redskins would again open a convincing lead at halftime, this time 17-7. The scoring got started with an interception return for a TD, and also included Earnest Byner's first TD run as a Redskin.
This time Washington would only add to its lead in the second half instead of see it erode. Chip Lohmiller kicked three FGs and the offense added a rushing TD and Washington rolled to a 30-7 win.
