1990 Week 16 | Washington Redskins 28 : Indianapolis Colts 35
The Redskins failed to help their playoff chances, falling to the Colts on the road.
The teams played a close first half, with Rypien and Jeff George both throwing TD passes. Lohmilled kicked two long FGs, and it was 14-13 Indy at halftime.
Washington appeared to be pulling away in the second half. A safety, a field goal, and a Clark TD catch made it 25-14 early in the fourth quarter. But the Colts rallied to score three TDs in the final period, including an interception return, and Washington could only manage another FG.
