Washington posted another big point total and clinched a playoff berth with their 11th win of the season.

The Skins dominated much of the game, pulling out to 27-0 lead by the end of the third quarter. Riggs scored two short range TDs and Rypien added another scoring pass to Monk.

Pittsburgh made a run in the fourth quarter, scoring two TDs, but Rypien found Clark for a long pass, putting the game out of reach at 34-14. Jeff Rutledge came in late in the fourth quarter to relieve Rypien and hit Ricky Sanders for another long TD, closing out another blowout win.
