1991 Week 3 | Washington Redskins 34 : Phoenix Cardinals 0

Returning to RFK, the Redskins posted another dominant performance.

Washington scored methodically, and their defense made it difficult for Phoenix to move the ball at all. Byner got in the end zone in the first quarter, and Rypien hit Sanders in the second for a 14-0 halftime lead.

Gary Clark caught a TD in the third quarter, and then a long interception return by Wilbur Marshall put the game away at 28-0 in the third quarter. The Skins added to fourth quarter field goals to post their second huge shutout of the season with a 34-0 score.
