Month of 01/Jan/2006 to 01/Feb/2006The Offseason is Now!Well, our little poll on the homepage apparently left one category out - new assistant coaches. Just when we thought all coaching issues had been resolved with Williams' extended contract, we get a surprise in the news this week with the addition of KC Chiefs offensive coordinator Al Saunders. Seattle / Weekend ThoughtsWell, its hard to find many people out there who think we can pull of a win in Seattle. Hard not to be on pins and needles, so here are some thoughts to tide us all over: By HeadHog at 2006-01-06 12:43 | add new comment | read more
Money Well SpentIt's refreshing that for once, we Redskins fans can actually be relieved that franchise owner Daniel Snyder has opened his checkbook to attract a well-known name. Signing Gregg Williams to such an extended contract, even though it doesn't prevent him from leaving at any point, sends exactly the right message to the league and the team at exactly the right time. How it Was Supposed to BeAs Shawn Taylor's swan dive into the end zone iced the game, and the Redskins nation collectively exhaled, the 2005 team fittingly won its way into the playoffs in the fashion that so many of us expected when the season started.
