The article in Washingtonpost.com's Redskins section today (Saunders: Critics are Missing the Point) cites Al Saunders stating what many of us have suspected watching the preseason: The Redskins offense has kept it's cards firmly on the table. He and David Patten both discuss the types of formations and play calls that have been executed in practice vs the preseason games. Having him back up this suspicion adds a little silver lining to the bleak exhibition scores, but doesn't totally gloss over some sloppy individual performances.
