The Redskins managed to field a strong replacement team, which along with scrappy play by the starters won the franchise another division title and put them on the road to another Super Bowl win.<br><br>The team seemed to be in chaos for much of the season, with Schroeder and veteran Doug Williams shuffling in and out of the starting QB spot. Most of the non-replacement games were very close, but the squad managed to find ways to come out on top.<br><br> The Skins upset the Bears in Chicago in the first round of the playoffs, bringing the NFC Championship back to RFK courtesy of the Wild Card Vikings, who had upset the 49ers.
